Summer is here and its getting hotter.
One thing that bothers me is heat. Once it gets beyond mid 20’s I have a hard time being out in the sun. It seems to wear me down.
Generally I am feeling good. A few minor ups and downs but nothing serious.
I go for blood again Thursday and I’m curious about that. Since I started treatment my blood work has been fairly normal. What the mainly check for is white cell count. If it gets to low you are more susceptable to infection.
Just to put it in perspective, any where between 4 an 10 is considered normal blood count.
2 weeks ago my white cell count was at 4.9. Last week it dropped down to 2. That’s as low as its been. Not sure why that happened but the chemo can do that. So hopefully this week I will be back up again.
I go for my next review on the 6th of July.
That’ll be 2 down and 4 more to go.

I’m Back Home After My Month End Review
Went up to Milestone early because a cousin I haven't seen since we where kids had stopped in to see my sister on their way west. We had a nice visit.
I went in to the clinic on Wednesday. Had my month end blood test and every thing is reading normal. They also checked for Kidney and liver functions. Apperently I have the blood pressure and pulse of an athlete. Just don't feel like one.
The Oncologist was pleased with the results. There was some noticable reduction in the visible lymphs.
I start the next round today. I will do a full six months before they do another CT scan to check to see how every thing is. So another 5 months of this. If the next months are no worse than the first one I'll manage all right.
Thats the news, Pictures at 11
